The Marne Taxis.

	Terror, horror and grief ... In this first worldwide conflict, the imagination of the envoys of evil reached new heights. This also contributed to the progress of automobile technology.   Europe : Marne Taxis In 1914, general Gallieni, Governer of Paris, requisitionned Parisian taxis, most of them Renaults, to transport the relief troops to the battle front. The first motorised transport of troops and symbol of liberty, the taxi contributed to the Marne victory which liberated Paris.   US Army
	Harley-Davidson, 1917.		In 1918, the US army entrusted the transport of troops and material to lorries. Light vehicles and several motorcyles (Harley-Davidson) served as the means of transport. The Staff Headquarters used luxury cars such as Cadillac and Packard for their conveyance.
