After doing various jobs as a
motorcycle salesman and mechanic, a Vespa distributor and a car dealer,
Marcel Thiry managed to keep his passion for automobile intact and
dedicated most of his leisure time to the conservation of historic
models.

This collection of the
Autoworld presents an overall view of the Belgian production
which has had its hour of glory in this field, especially through
the trio of international repute :
- Gillet/Herstal
- F.N./Herstal (characterised by a
special technique, shaft transmission)
- Sarolea
- (make first made in 1898 whose repute attained its peak
in the twenties) .
