Through Marcel Thiry's collection of motorcycles, Autoworld presents another facet of the history of mechanics related to "two-wheelers".

FN, 1905.
After doing various jobs as a motorcycle salesman and mechanic, a Vespa distributor and a car dealer, Marcel Thiry managed to keep his passion for automobile intact and dedicated most of his leisure time to the conservation of historic models.

This collection of the Autoworld presents an overall view of the Belgian production which has had its hour of glory in this field, especially through the trio of international repute :
  • Gillet/Herstal
  • F.N./Herstal (characterised by a special technique, shaft transmission)
  • Sarolea
  • (make first made in 1898 whose repute attained its peak in the twenties) .
