During the Motor Show, Autoworld, together with organiser Febiac, is leaving the walls of its museum to announce its major 2015 exhibitions in the Heizel halls.
Praise where praise is due: during the Dream Cars Show, a real show within the show where the most beautiful supercars are shown to the public in Hall 11 from 23 to 25 January, Autoworld is introducing its major year-end exhibition, with – in a first for Belgium – the modern version of the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring Superleggera (photo attached), which was shown in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show.
The latest Alfa Romeo Disco Volante and the 1954 version (which is on display in the museum of Turin at the moment) are two of the forty Italian ‘belle macchine’ from the ‘Italian Car Passion’ exhibition planned in December 2015 and January 2016 at Autoworld (you’ll find more information on this at www.italiancarpassion.be).
For once, Autoworld is also putting sixteen legendary motorcycles in the spotlights, including the Norton Commando, Honda CB750 MK0, BMW R 90S and Ducati 916 Senna, etc. You can admire these two-wheeled icons in Hall 1 right across from the Pitstop Bar. They introduce the major exhibition ‘Motor Legends’ to be held during the Easter holiday on the Autoworld mezzanine. Enthusiasts will be able to see almost 60 historic motorcycles there.
Sixty years ago the Belgian brand Saroléa launched the Atlantic Major. Only 52 of these showpieces would ultimately be built before the manufacturer had to close its doors definitively in 1960. In 2015 Saroléa is returning to the Brussels Show with the Saroléa SP7 , which will be on display at the Autoworld stand.
Finally, the beautiful Autoworld stand will welcome visitors who enter the Motor Show via the Astrid Hall with an Alfa Romeo TZ2.
So it’s a date at the Autoworld stands at the Motor Show until 25 January and… every day of the year on the Esplanade of Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels.
