‘Old-Timers’, or classic cars, are usually
vehicles from before and shortly after the Second World War and therefore no
longer part of the childhood memories of today’s 30- and 40-year-olds.
Their memories and feelings are linked to
cars from the 1980s and early 1990s. We are thinking here of the BMW M3,
Mercedes-Benz 190 E, Volkswagen GTi, Peugeot 205, Toyota Corolla AE86, and
These cars are generally still affordable and what’s more, they are increasing in value as they gain popularity.
During the month of May, Autoworld is delighted to be hosting a temporary exhibition of ten of these famous ‘Young-Timers’.
