During the winter months, Autoworld traditionally
organizes a major exhibit every other year in which due attention is paid to
décor and scenography. After the exhibit devoted to Ferdinand Porsche in 2013,
the Autoworld Team began more than a year ago to prepare ‘the next BIG thing’. Save
the dates: from 3 December 2015 to 31 January 2016.
Fans of the finest Italian cars will be able to delight to their heart’s content in a summery décor in which a whole Italian town will be reconstructed, with its typical piazzas and narrow lanes in which the cars will be ‘parked’. The display will consist of a subtle mix of popular Italian vehicles, a series of beautiful exclusive cars that played a key role in the golden years of Italian automotive history (such as the Lamborghini Miura, the Bizzarrini 5300 Stradale and the Ferrari 275GTS), along with Italian motorcycles.
The exhibition will be divided into a number of thematic zones: at the ‘Concorso d’Eleganza’, the masterpieces of the great Italian car designers such as Bertone, Pininfarina, Touring Superleggera, etc. will be in the spotlight. In the GT and sportcar zone, visitors can admire automobiles such as the Maserati A6G and the TZ2 Tubolare Zagato. There will of course be a zone for the ‘Italian Supercars’ – exceptional contemporary models such as Ferrari’s ‘La Ferrari’ and the Lamborghini Aventador.
During the months of December and January, a total of some fifty beautiful Italian cars will be on exhibit, on loan from private collectors and international museums.
