New in Autoworld
Each Sunday restauration workshop for historic racing cars
As from Sunday February 5 the Autoworld Museum opens a new zone, in the new workshop area 3 historical racing cars will be restaured.
The museum visitors will be able to discover the evolution of the restauration project.
Each first Sunday afternoon of the month members of the Formula Club will be working in the workshop zone. The main goal of this project is to participate with this cars in future competitions. The different phases of the restaurationproces will be communicated at the workshop, giving museum visitors an insight of the evolution of the project.
The next cars are waiting in the musuem for restauration:
- Rondeau Formule Ford 1984 (former car of Eric Bachelart)
- Formule Junior Delfosse 1963 NSU
- Formule Junior 1963 SELL (unique car based on Lotus 20)
Both Formula Junior Cars will participate in the Historical Grand Prix of Monaco and the magnificent Goodwood Revival Festival in 2013.
Formula Club Belgium is the only club in Belgium for historical one seaters type “Monoplace & Sport Prototype”. Most cars have a unique history and are part of the rare historical heritage.
