Ten reasons for a family visit to Autoworld

Whatever your children’s age, a visit to the Autoworld museum will always be an enjoyable experience full of things to learn about and find out about.

  • First of all because children love cars, whether they’re old or not.
  • In the “Sport & Competition” section, they will be able to sit in a genuine racing car and have photos taken of themselves.
  • A treasure hunt built around a short questionnaire, varying according to age range, will give them the chance to learn more about the museum’s cars whilst at the same time finding the code that will open the treasure chest in which a nice souvenir awaits.
  • Throughout the summer we are organising a colouring competition for the younger children (all materials are available on site).
  • In the Michel Vaillant section, children will be able to flick through all the strip cartoons featuring the famous racing driver dreamt up by Jean Graton.
  • Kids love small-scale models and our store has a wide range to choose from.
  • If they want to pretend they’re champions and climb onto the top step of the podium, their wish can come true in the “Sport & Competition” section.
  • For mothers and their babies, the museum has adapted toilets and a baby corner.
  • At the end of your visit, a meal in Autoworld’s brasserie makes for a pleasant opportunity for everyone in the family to chat about what they have seen and done. The brasserie has a special children’s menu.
  • To find out more and to hear a whole host of anecdotes about the history of motoring and the cars exhibited in the museum, guided tours are available on request (and are adapted to all ages).
