You will discover the successful trends in this evolution at Autoworld’s new “design-corner”. Ranging from a “Roi-des-Belges” coachwork via the voluptuous lines of the ‘30s through to the no-nonsense but highly efficient Golf I.

All this is illustrated by means of some 20 exceptional cars. In addition, attention is focussed on the Belgian designers who made a name for themselves over the past 20 years.
And perhaps an answer to the question as to whether everything was really better in days gone by …
