About Autoworld Museum Brussels
Autoworld Museum Brussels is one of the top 5 museums and tourist attractions in Brussels and welcomes more than 245,000 visitors every year.
With a permanent collection of more than 300 vehicles, the museum brings the history of the automobile to life. Throughout the year, Autoworld organizes various temporary themed exhibitions and activities, ensuring there is always something new to discover.
Autoworld is a private museum that is open 365 days a year. In addition to the museum, Autoworld Museum Brussels is also an event venue and we operate our own museum shop.
Behind Autoworld Museum Brussels is an enthusiastic team of around 20 colleagues where team spirit, flexibility and commitment are central. Together we work every day to offer ourvisitors a unique experience.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for our museum shop.
Your role
As a shop employee, you will be responsible for the daily management of the museum shop and ensure visitors enjoy a pleasant shopping experience.
Your responsibilities:
• You welcome visitors and assist them in a friendly and professional way in the shop.
• You ensure the shop is presented in an attractive and well-organized way.
• You replenish products and ensure correct product presentation.
• You follow up orders and stock in consultation with the responsible manager.
• You manage orders and deliveries in the cash register system and in the shop.
• You are responsible for the daily closing of the cash register.
• During lunchtime, you replace a colleague at the reception for one hour.
• You regularly discuss the shop’s results and operations with the responsible manager.
Your profile
• You are bilingual Dutch-French and have a good knowledge of English.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
• You have retail experience and understand how to organize a shop in an attractive and commercial way.
• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You are customer-oriented, commercially minded and administratively accurate.
• You work independently, take initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are flexible and polyvalent.
• You work 5 days per week, with Saturday and Sunday being part of your regular schedule.
• An interest in cars or the automotive sector is a plus.
