Autoworld participates at 'Free museums for students'

Autoworld joins a welcoming action being organised by Brussels Culture with the aim of offering students of higher education the opportunity to discover the rich collections and exhibitions held in the Capital’s 22 museums without having to spend a single euro. Throughout the entire Easter holidays – from 3rd through to 18th April – students from the University and High School will as such have free admission to Autoworld upon a straightforward reservation.

If you are a supercars fan, you will definitely know POG!  Youtuber, Instagrammer… POG is the “king” of the automotive influencers. Fan of sports and hypercars, which he decorates in a zany manner, he loves sharing his experiences with “his mates”; the more than one million followers who share his adventures via his different social networks.

Volkswagen Milestones in the spotlight until 28 march 2021

Traditionally the Autoworld museum devotes its February and March exhibition to a facet of the Volkswagen Beetle, with the Love Bugs Parade linked to celebrating Saint Valentine.
However, the latter will not take place in 2021 for reasons that everyone can image, but the exhibition organised in collaboration with Volkswagen will take on a rather distinctive and highly original aspect.

Autoworld obtained Brussels Health Label

To enable the sector to resume its activities under the best possible conditions, the Brussels-Capital Region and visit.brussels launched a health safety label designed in collaboration with the international certification company SOCOTEC. 
The Region has created the Brussels Health Safety Label to reassure the public and provide additional support to the tourism sector. The content of this label was developed in close cooperation with the federations and the partners in the tourism sector. It evolves in accordance with the directives of the National Security Council and is expected to support the sector in the coming months.
The "Brussels Health Safety Label" The label is intended for tourism and culture stakeholders, namely attractions and museums, tourist accommodation, guided tours, restaurants and bars, venues, events and fairs. Its purpose is twofold.

HAVE YOU SEEN OUR” BEETLE IN THE BOX”?

Since mid-July this car proudly takes centre stage in the heart of the museum: a real VW Beetle 1300cc dating from 1969 in a specially built Bburago box to welcome her.  Anyone can win it by purchasing, in our shop, its 1/24th Bburago scale model. Limited to a mere 4,000 units, the scale model is sold together with a small card to be completed with the coordinates of the purchaser and which will act as the ticket for the draw to be held on Thursday 24 of June.  Price of the scale model: 30 € (or 40 € with an admission ticket to Autoworld).

A car-free Esplanade!

Henceforth, when you visit the Museum, you will enjoy a splendid clear view of the Arche du Cinquantenaire and its park. This is due to the fact that parking is no longer authorised on the Esplanade (*) in order to preserve the historic and patrimonial aspects of the site. 
Perhaps some may recall … it was the case back in 1972 for the Brussels Grand-Place and we appreciate how enjoyable it is to stroll around there now.
Let us venture that it will restore all the Cinquantenaire’s lustre and fully benefit the surrounding museums and the visitors.
