Message to all children, whether big or small wishing to give their father at treat on this very special day.
Visit Autoworld with your father on that 14th June.
We will offer him a free admission to the museum.
Based on your respective identity cards you will be in a position to prove your parentage.
You own a Porsche 356?
Please register via email to Marketing@autoworld.be and join us on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire on Sunday 12th July between 10.00hrs and 14.00hrs (in so far as the governmental measures authorise it)
As the driver of a Porsche 356 we will offer you free admission to the museum upon presentation of the car registration document, and a tasty breakfast awaits you with croissants and drinks– whilst meeting up with other happy owners of this superb car.
The public will have free access to the spontaneous open-air exhibition; whereas access to the museum obviously remains paying.
During the summer holidays, in July and August, between 14.00hrs and 18.00hrs, children’s creativity will be drawn upon in the area located on the museum’s first floor (our mezzanine).
Lego bricks will be given to each child registered by their parents with our volunteer Friends; one containing a chassis and wheels, the other bricks of all colours.
Each child can then give free rein to their imagination and the most creative will remain exhibited during the entire week.
At the end of each week the child having created the most beautiful car of the week will be rewarded.
Every day throughout the summer, from Monday to Sunday, on the dot of 14.00hrs, we will bring out one of the museum’s exceptional cars and take it for a spin on the empty Esplanade du Cinquantenaire.
An ideal opportunity to appreciate that our museum is alive and well and that many of our cars are in perfect running order.
Firing up, the throb and burble of the engine … so much to enjoy and only possible when a vehicle is up and running.
Every week we will pick out a different car, which you will discover in a list on our website and on our Facebook page.
Note that this activity will only take place in dry weather conditions.
In this somewhat unprecedented period, during which children will not have returned to the school benches, we have decided to resume the traditional colouring competition one month prior to the summer holidays.
So, as from 1st June do not hesitate to come with your family and allow your young ones to colour drawings of some of the supercars and the various Porsche 356 cars with crayons of all colours provided for them.
All the drawings will be exhibited and the most creative will be rewarded … as always.
