In order to raise awareness and inform the public about the possibilities of life after cancer and to convey a message of hope, RIDE 4 LIFE is producing a documentary film from a positive and instructive point of view, using an improbable human adventure as its leitmotif (https://vimeo.com/256427999). On Saturday 20 October, on the theme of RIDE 4 Kids, the Autoworld mezzanine will be staging electric remote-controlled car races with child cancer patients aged between six and 15. On this occasion web-stories will be filmed on the value of dreaming, plans, hygiene and the craving for life that can be built up for oneself in a life during and after cancer.
A year ago Autoworld received a 1976 Land Rover Series III (109”). We were given this vehicle by the Namur Red Cross after it had notched up many years of good and reliable service for them.
For a number of years now, at the same time of year, Autoworld has been hosting the Télévie Stars Rally. It’s our way of participating in this event which raises funds for cancer research (Professor Arsène Burny’s FNRS-FRS).
