Year after year they return to add a dash of colour to the Esplanade and good spirit a few days after Saint-Valentine’s day. In the heart of winter these ‘Beetle Lovers’ come to celebrate love and happiness.
Sunday 16th February, for the 12th consecutive year, near on 300 Bugs, Beetles and their big brother, the Combi will brighten up the Esplanade in front of the Autoworld museum. Of all generations (the oldest presently registered dates from 1953!), of all eras and … of all colours.
From 6th through to 9th February, the ephemeral exhibition “On the move “of the Pêcheurs de Lune association will be held at Autoworld. It will present works produced by so-called different artists who will display what yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s mobility represents for them through their paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Autoworld has just received the loan, for one year, of a very special car. She has pride of place in the Belgian zone on the revolving plateau. And for a good reason! Even though English, the MGB Coune Berlinette is a car boasting Belgian coachwork by the Brussels based coachbuilder Jacques Coune.
Jacques Coune was also the Abarth importer for Belgium. His company was located at the same address as that of the importer Ferrari Garage Francorchamps.
