Sunday 16th February 2020: Love Bugs Parade

For this 12th edition do we still need to introduce this delightful gathering of Bugs and Beetles, not forgetting their big brother, the Combi?  No less than 300 will be on hand in front of the Autoworld museum, on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire in Brussels. They are of all generations (the oldest presently registered dates from 1953!) and of … all colours.  They have often accompanied their owners for numerous generations and more often than not are part of the family. They enjoy such names as Herbie, Vocho, 53, Pablo, Beetle, Samba to name but a few……

This gathering in itself is a big party for one and all! Because year upon year it’s that same infatuation that brings their owners together, dying to enjoy a day out filled with the spirit of freedom, music and togetherness this small car inspires!

The Love Bugs Parade 2020 will take place on Sunday 16th February.  Participants are expected as from 11.00hrs at the Autoworld museum where they will receive the roadbook, rally plaque and other documents.

The start will be given on the dot of 14.00hrs! The Love Bugs Parade sets off in a in a joyful chaos with blaring horns and cries of joy. The course will take our Bugs along the boulevards up to the Bois de la Cambre, returning along the Boulevard du Souverain with a small detour towards the Africa Museum at Tervuren via the royal route. The cars are expected to be back at Autoworld around 15.00-15.30hrs.
The general public are invited to stroll around and immerse themselves in the exceptional atmosphere prevailing at that time in front of Autoworld between 11.00 and 14.00hrs. (*)
