They welcome you, keep you informed, guide you and take the utmost care to ensure that your visit to Autoworld runs as smoothly as possible. Who are these people you only know by sight? This time we are popping into the museum’s brand-new shop to meet Delphine.
25 years old, boasting a big-hearted smile, Delphine came to Autoworld as a job student during the summer of 2019.
She has covered all possible and imaginable jobs, starting off with an internship in the events and communication department.
One also came across her at the welcome desk, the ticket sales and in the marketing team for the rental of rooms.
“I needed to take telephone calls and answer emails, solve small ‘problems’ to help the visitors. I learned to multitask while remaining alert at all times. As such I discovered all aspects of the museum and, for its part, Autoworld helped me to be accurate and meticulous … and to be less shy”.
At the end of her internship Autoworld wanted to retain Delphine within its team. During a team building she was even elected “Woman of the year at Autoworld”!
At the time the museum’s shop was undergoing a facelift. The ideal moment to offer Delphine the brand-new position of Shop Manager where she would be able to deploy all her qualities.
“My main missions are to maintain good relations with the suppliers, manage the stocks, sell the items on offer in the shop as also to restock the shop’s products. I also produce an on-going analysis of the shop with a view to putting forward proposals aimed at making improvements”.
But it is especially in front of visitors that Delphine’s diplomacy comes into its own and it is with great pleasure that she welcomes you in your language to offer you the ideal gift or novel souvenir.
