We had the pleasure of co-organizing, together with Volkswagen Belgium, the 17th edition of the Love Bugs Parade, the unmissable event for all fans of the legendary Volkswagen Beetle, on Valentine’s weekend.

Many participants joined in wonderfully by dressing in Beetle-themed colors; others added little “Beetle” touches to their cars, making the parade even more festive and colorful.

This year, the Volkswagen Golf GTI was the guest of honor: from the very first to the latest model, celebrating 50 years of this iconic sports car.

We started the day under a radiant sun, watching over 250 Beetles and Volkswagen T2 vans: restored, customized, or preserved in their original state parade through Brussels.

The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and intergenerational, true to the free-spirited and charming nature of these iconic models.

At 2:00 PM, in an atmosphere punctuated by the honking of horns, the start was given for a drive to Beersel Castle.

It was at that moment that the snow began to fall, making the event even more romantic.

For us, the Love Bugs Parade is not just a gathering: it is a true celebration dedicated to one of the most iconic and charming cars in automotive history.

We are already looking forward to seeing all the enthusiasts again next year to once more celebrate the Beetle and its community.
