Autoworld Hosts the BEL Event 2025
From 14 to 16 November 2025, Autoworld Brussels had the pleasure of welcoming the annual BEL Event, an initiative of BEL – Brussels Expertise Labels, which showcases Brussels know-how, creativity and innovation. As a proud BEL member, Autoworld was particularly delighted to host this inspiring event at the museum for the third consecutive year.
The BEL Event consisted of two main components: the BEL Prize and the exhibition “When Expertise Meets Art.”

BEL Prize 2025
The event officially began on 13 November with the presentation of the BEL Prizes, two prestigious awards that highlight exceptional Brussels talent.

Transmission Prize: Marie Adam-Leenaerdt
Awarded for her contemporary vision within the fashion world and her contribution to renewing Brussels design talent.

Ambassador Prize: Sonja Noël
Honoured for her many years of commitment to supporting Brussels creatives internationally.

Launch of the Mini-Exhibition During the BEL Prize Award Ceremony
During the BEL Prize Award ceremony, the accompanying mini-exhibition was also launched. It was a warm and inspiring gathering between guests and BEL members, during which members personally offered a short explanation of their creations.
This preview provided an initial glimpse of the talent and diversity that would be fully showcased throughout the public weekend.
When Expertise Meets Art – Open to the Public from Friday Onwards
From Friday 14 November, the full exhibition “When Expertise Meets Art” opened to the public. In Autoworld’s Blue Boulevard, visitors discovered around 60 collaborations between BEL members and Brussels-based artists, designers and studios. The exhibition presented a surprising mix of craftsmanship, design, innovation and aesthetics, offering a rich overview of the creative talent that Brussels has to offer.
During this exhibition, Autoworld also presented a first conceptual vision of its future museum project, giving visitors insight into the museum’s ambitions and long-term vision.
The exhibition ran in parallel with Autoworld’s own show, “German Tuners from the ’80s & ’90s,” creating a unique and complementary overall experience.
More Than 2,000 Visitors
The public weekend attracted an impressive number of visitors: more than 2,000 people discovered the various creations and collaborations featured in “When Expertise Meets Art.”
This remarkable level of interest once again confirms the importance of the BEL Event as a platform for Brussels creative talent — and Autoworld is proud to have supported and hosted this event for the third consecutive year.
