Maserati 3200 GTA 2002
The Italian GT with Automatic Transmission
In 2002, Maserati expanded its Trident coupé range with the 3200 GTA. Combining Giorgetto Giugiaro’s timeless design with the refined mechanics of the 3200 GT, the GTA distinguished itself through a 4-speed automatic transmission developed in collaboration with ZF. This version was aimed at customers seeking greater comfort and ease of driving, particularly in markets such as the UK, Switzerland, and Germany.

Visually, the 3200 GTA retains all the charm of the original model, with its elegant silhouette and spectacular boomerang-shaped LED taillights, unique in Maserati’s history.
Beneath the hood lies the renowned 3.2-liter twin-turbo V8, producing 375 hp and 491 Nm of torque. Paired with the automatic gearbox, it delivers a top speed of 270 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around 5.7 seconds—figures that still placed it among the top GT cars of the early 2000s.

Inside, luxury meets sportiness with an interior blending leather, wood, and handcrafted details, providing a subtle balance between refinement and performance.
Today, the Maserati 3200 GTA is highly sought-after for its exclusivity (only 2,106 units built), its pivotal role in Maserati’s modern history, and its distinctive character, making it a true Italian youngtimer classic.
