BIRTHDAY EVENT
On Sunday, October 4, Autoworld will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a big Birthday Event for young and old.
The programme includes a festive Cars & Coffee Birthday Edition, an impressive Supercar Line-up at the heart of the museum, free guided tours, rides in cars from our collection, activities for children and, of course, our anniversary exhibition 'Autoworld 40 Years - Looking Back to the Future'.
This promises to be an exceptional day for car enthusiasts, families, collectors, and everyone who wants to celebrate 40 years of Autoworld with us.
CARS & COFFEE
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
We’ll start the day with a special Cars & Coffee Birthday Edition, taking place on the Esplanade in front of Autoworld.
All classic and youngtimer cars are welcome to join us for a festive gathering in Cinquantenaire Park.
At 12:30 PM, several outstanding cars will be honoured during the Best of Show awards ceremony.
Participation in the Cars & Coffee is free, but prior registration is mandatory.
SUPERCAR LINE-UP
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’ll be bringing some exceptional supercars to Autoworld.
From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, they will be displayed at the heart of the museum, adding a spectacular touch to our collection and anniversary exhibition for one day.

15 cars, 2 motorcycles and a Vespa take you on a journey through 40 years of Autoworld exhibitions. Rediscover icons such as the Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Miura, Bugatti 35B, Ford GT40, Mercedes F1 W05 and the Audi Sport Quattro S1.

The guided tours are free with a valid museum admission ticket. Places are limited, so advance registration is strongly recommended.
RIDE ALONG WITH AUTOWORLD
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Have you always dreamed of riding in an exceptional car from the Autoworld collection?
Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, a selection of collection cars will exceptionally leave the museum. Take a seat as a passenger for a short ride through Cinquantenaire Park and experience our collection in a whole new way.
The cars will depart from in front of the Autoworld entrance, and the rides are free with a valid museum admission ticket.
KIDS @ AUTOWORLD
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Our youngest visitors won’t be left out!
Get your face painted at the face-painting stand, let your imagination run wild with LEGO, play a board game, challenge each other at foosball, or take the wheel of our racing simulator.

Autoworld opened its doors in 1986. Were you also born in 1986? Then you’re our guest on Sunday, October 4! Enjoy free admission to Autoworld upon presentation of your ID card.
Owners of a classic car dating from 1986 will also enjoy free admission to the museum on the day, upon presentation of the vehicle’s registration certificate.
After all, a shared birthday is meant to be celebrated together!
