From 11 September to 13 December, Autoworld celebrates its 40th anniversary with a unique pop-up exhibition: 'Autoworld 40 Years – Looking Back to the Future'.

To mark this special anniversary exhibition, we look back on four decades of Autoworld’s history. For the occasion, some of the most remarkable vehicles ever displayed at the museum will return, including iconic cars from past temporary exhibitions that left a lasting impression on generations of visitors.

Think, for example, of cars featured in exhibitions dedicated to Bizzarrini, Bugatti, Porsche, Italian Car Passion, and many more.

And we need your help too. Which car or exhibition do you think deserves to make a return to Autoworld?

Let us know via the form at the bottom of this page and share your favourite car or exhibition from the past 40 years. Who knows? Your choice might soon make its return to the museum.

But “Autoworld 40 Years – Looking Back to the Future” will be more than just a showcase of cars.

We will take you through the most memorable moments in our history: unforgettable exhibitions, the museum’s evolution, special events, and encounters that have helped shape Autoworld into what it is today.

We will also speak with key figures from the automotive world and explore their personal connection with the museum.

And of course, we are also looking to the future. Behind the scenes, we are actively working on Autoworld’s future, with major renovation plans scheduled for 2027.
