Great news for all lovers of Japanese cars and culture!This summer, Autoworld invites you to immerse yourself in a universe where tradition, innovation, and mechanical exuberance come together.

From 3 July to 31 August, discover Big in Japan at Autoworld – a spectacular exhibition celebrating the rich heritage of Japan’s automotive and motorcycle industries, brought to life through a captivating scenography inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun.

Wander through atmospheric scenes drawn from Japanese life – from vibrant cityscapes to tranquil temple gardens – all while surrounded by the spirit of Japan.


Historic Icons & Supercars

Discover the cars that have defined generations: the Mazda Cosmo, the pre-production Mazda MX-5, the Toyota 2000 GT & Spider, Toyota Celica, and Toyota Supra.True symbols of reliability and driving pleasure, these vehicles have become genuine legends.

Marvel up close at rare and powerful machines such as the Toyota GT-One, Honda NSX, and many more breathtaking mechanical surprises.

Japanese Motorsport

Step into the paddocks of Japan’s legendary circuits – Fuji and Suzuka – with tributes to rally, endurance, Super GT, and drift racing. Iconic race cars bring the adrenaline of Japanese motorsport to life.

Centre stage is the exceptional Mazda 787B (Le Mans winner, 1991), alongside the Toyota 94C-V (1994) and Carlos Sainz’s Toyota Corolla WRC.

The Spectacular Evolution of Japanese Superbikes

Japanese passion goes beyond cars. Big in Japan also honours the titans of the motorbike world. From the iconic Honda CB750 to modern marvels like the Yamaha R1 and Suzuki Hayabusa, discover how Japanese manufacturers revolutionised sport bikes and competition.

From vintage models to cutting-edge superbikes, this section takes you on a journey through 50 years of speed, style, and innovation.

Big in Japan is: Autoworld Goes Japanese
Step into immersive settings inspired by Tokyo, the Suzuka circuit, and the stunning nature around Mount Fuji – an authentic Japanese experience in the heart of Brussels.

Activities for All Ages
Throughout the summer, Autoworld offers a creative kids zone with drawing stations (where you can project your car onto a racetrack), a LEGO corner to build your dream car, and – especially for Big in Japan – an origami workshop and a retro arcade game.

Brasserie Bagnole 
Even Brasserie Bagnole joins the celebration by infusing its menu with Japanese-inspired seasonal specials and a unique themed atmosphere in the restaurant.
