40 Years of AUTOWORLD

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Autoworld invites all car enthusiasts to a special edition of Cars & Coffee on Sunday, 4 October 2026, on the Esplanade in front of the museum.

Join fellow enthusiasts in celebrating four decades of automotive history in the unique setting of Cinquantenaire Park. Owners of oldtimers or youngtimers that are at least 20 years old are invited to take part with their vehicle. Visitors without a car are also very welcome to admire the participating vehicles and celebrate Autoworld’s anniversary with us.

 

For participants

All oldtimers and youngtimers that are at least 20 years old are welcome, regardless of their make, model or country of origin.

Participation is free, but advance registration via the form at the bottom of this page is required. Please note that the number of spaces is limited. Places will be allocated in order of registration.

Each participant will receive a complimentary drink and a discount on admission to the museum. A few festive surprises will also be reserved especially for participants.

For this special anniversary edition, the participating vehicles will be divided into several categories. During the morning, an Autoworld jury will visit and assess the vehicles. The winners will be announced during a festive awards ceremony at 12.30 pm.

For visitors

Everyone is welcome to come and admire the participating vehicles free of charge on the Esplanade. Visitors do not need to register in advance.

Come and discover a varied selection of classic cars and youngtimers and enjoy the friendly atmosphere in the heart of Cinquantenaire Park.

Celebrate 40 years of Autoworld

On Sunday, 4 October, Autoworld will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a full programme of activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages inside the museum.

Combine your visit to Cars & Coffee with the exhibition 'Autoworld 40 Years - Looking Back' to the Future and discover a selection of exceptional vehicles that have played a special role in the museum’s history.
