On Sunday 11 February, Autoworld once again thundered under the loveliness of Beetle violence. The traditional Love Bugs Parade once again drew droves of Volkswagen Beetles to Brussels for a social gathering, a beautiful tour and a visit to Autoworld.
No fewer than 274 Volkswagen Beetles in all colours and shapes descended on Autoworld. The theme this year was 'Driven By Love.' This followed the ongoing temporary expo 'Porsche - Driven By Dreams,' featuring an exclusive collection of Porsche, many never before seen in Belgium. And the link between the Volkswagen Beetle and the Porsche brand was further highlighted with two Volkswagen-engined Porsches starting the tour.
With 900 Beetle owners and enthusiasts and another two thousand visitors, Autoworld could speak of a 'full house'. A house full of love for the Beetle, Porsche and automotive history. The Expo 'Porsche - Driven By Dreams' runs until 25 February.
