Every year since 2009, the Love Bugs Parade has brought together almost 300 Volkswagen Bugs, Beetles and Transporters T1, T2 and T3 as a sweet nod on the occasion of Valentine’s Day as symbolised by these adorable small cars immortalised by the film “Herbie, the Love Bug”.

The cars are awaited on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire in front of the Autoworld museum on Saint-Valentine Sunday, namely the 12th February, as from 10 o’clock in the morning.

Barely launched, the registrations have been closed, as the owners of these delightful cars were definitely in the starting blocks to be able to participate in this annual event.

But the general public can rest assured! Everyone is welcome on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire to come to admire them and enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere that reigns right up until their departure for the run.
At 14.00hrs, the signal is given in a joyful hubbub! The cars will then head off towards the Rond-Point Mérode and Tervueren for a good hour’s run around the outskirts of Brussels following a clear-cut roadbook. They will return between 15.15hrs and 16.00hrs.
